Non-scientific American alternative band, We Are Scientists, announced details of a UK winter tour and the finale is at Rock City in Nottingham on November 27th. This is all in aid of promoting their third studio album, Barbara which was released last month.

The band just kicked off the US version of this July 13th. After two years off the gig circuit, it seems American fans have been flocking and giving this trio sold out shows! We expect a similar reaction in Nottingham.

The annual earnings from services at UK beaches over a year total up to a whopping 8 billion pounds. Figures from the tourism industry also indicate a 13% increase in spending by holiday makers between 2008-2009.

Pawaya is one fascinating complex of ruins. This bears all the testimonies about the capital of Nag King’s. Located inside is the Chaksha Manibhadra’s life size statue in the first AD. These ruins used to serve as medieval fort of the Parmars. It has now become an attraction of Pawaya together with the temple of Dhoomeshwar Mahadeo.

Next I was off to Saskatoon. My luggage went to Vancouver! I told the airline that there wasn’t really any point in sending it to my son’s house that evening as my next flight was departing at 7:30 am.

So when it was announced that a concert film was going to be made of Michael Jackson’s rehearsal footage called ” This is It” I knew I would have to see this film. I am so glad that I did.

The whole trip is simply stupendous. The dhow is nothing but a wooden boat that has been decorated in such a way that it looks very beautiful. The whole journey is very safe and secure so you do not need to worry on that front.
