Work out motivation comes from within your mind. It comes from the thoughts in your head. To put it simply, how you think about exercise has a major effect on whether or not you work out.

I hate being the bearer of bad news but here it is anyway. There is no such thing as perfect. Therefore, if you are trying to make something perfect you will fail. For example, this article will never be perfect no matter how much I rewrite it. I can simply do my best then get it out into the world. I can do no more.

Body building isn’t all about lifting weights at the gym. Lifting weights is for building and toning muscle. You also need to do cardio exercises to burn fat.
Using big moves requires more muscles to work. The more muscles that are worked during the workout, the more muscular damage is done requiring your body to work harder to repair the muscles. While your body is repairing itself, by growing stronger and/or larger muscles, it is spending or burning calories to fuel this growth. More calories burned = more fat burned= less fat on you!
The “regular guy” doesn’t have this happening. So if he wants to make greater physical strides, he may actually have to hit the gym more often, do longer workouts, more volume, etc than a fighter may have to do.
