In a word, Web 2.0 is the name given to the post dot-com boom and bust of Internet growth. It’s been impressive, hasn’t it? Companies like eBay, PayPal and Amazon.com have proven that business can be conducted on the Web and it can be profitable. Now the rest of us can have our turn.

Prospecting and MLM lead generation. Yes, you can write articles with links back to your offer, create blogs and Web 2.0 resources which will work for you even when you’re not but what you don’t want to be doing is letting others generate the leads for you.

Social Bookmarking – These links have become very popular recently. Social bookmarking websites like Digg Reddit online blogs and Mister Wong allow you to submit your news/story/content on their website. Each headline links back to your web site. Apart from that, due to the huge number of visitors and traffic on these social websites, your website gets a lot of visitors from social bookmarking backlinks.

One tool that I have obtained from my English classes in High School and College is to brainstorm for fifteen minutes. Set a timer for fifteen minutes, put your main subject in the middle of the paper and then surround the main topic with ideas that come to mind. Do not restrain yourself from ideas that come to mind. The point of this exercise is to simply bring forth any and all ideas about the one topic.

#5 – Enlist help. A fresh pair of eyes never hurts! This can be as simple as asking for feedback on your resume from a friend or trusted co-worker, who may suggest adding skills and talents you overlooked.
