So, all you have to do is take a small loan from the bank, buy the equipment and erect a small building on the side of your property. Congratulations, you have a home gym. And now you don’t have to pay that darn monthly gym membership fee.

To work out your break even point you take your total fixed expenses and divide by your gross margin percentage and multiply by 100. As an example, let’s say your fixed expenses are $150k and your gross margin is 40%. Eg. $150k/40 x 100 = $375k, so you’re break even point will be $375k. This means that you will started making Net Profit after you have sold $375k of products or services.

Next tip is to train hard – if you cut your gym appearances to twice a week you should have plenty of fuel in the tank to train really hard. An important part of this is to add weight to the bar on a regular basis. If you add small amounts of weight your body will be better able to adapt to the extra stress placed on the muscles.

Before you begin, consult your doctor. You may have an existing condition that doesn’t allow strenuous physical exercises. If so, your doctor may give you guidelines as to what you can and can’t do in the gym. Have your blood pressure, blood cholesterol, and heart rate checked. Have him or her assess your diet.

After reading the title of this article, you might be saying “I’ve heard of working-out, but what is this working-in you speak of?” Well simply put, working out uses or expends energy and working-in promotes or builds energy in the body. There is always an opposite (yin and yang) effect with everything. In this case, working out is yang (catabolic) and working in is yin (anabolic). Of course, if you choose one of these methods and use it for every exercise, in every workout, then you’re wildly missing the point. Use one or two in each workout and continue making changes to keep your body from hitting any plateaus. And for crying out loud, clean the garage.
