When someone has a product, they usually need a location in which it can be sold.. but in the case of an online marketer, they do not typically have to worry about this at all, since all sales can be done online. The Internet is a very powerful place to market, because sellers can reach literally millions of people, and those people become leads, and those leads eventually become customers. This is just the beginning of how internet marketing and affiliate selling works.
Look at the websites for major magazines that appeal to your target customer. Lots of them have blogs (which should be an obvious target for you) BUT many of these sites also list their favorite blogs. For example: Martha Stewart has a “Blogs I Like” section on her site. Shoot, if it’s good enough for Martha, it’s probably good enough for you.
Internet marketing novices can certainly use blogs to promote their products and affiliate links online. Blogs are very powerful tools that a lot of webmasters, even the most successful ones at that, are using it to promote their sites. The primary reason for this is the fact that blogs can easily be syndicated.
A Personal Blog – personal look at my magazines were actually the first blog to be introduced to the world. They were first present somewhat like a diary would be but just not as personal. People would blog about their day at work, their kids, their neighbors and so forth. To this day the personal blog has really remained the same over the years.

Blogs can be used very effectively to promote your business and to get your message across. They can also be used for generating revenue. You can put up Google AdSense and other contextual ads. You can also put up affiliate links. Another possibility is to put up web forms to invite subscribers for your newsletters. Some knowledge of HTML will be required to install AdSense and web forms etc.
