Commenting on blogs to increase backlinks to your blog is nothing new. People have left comments on blogs for this very reason for, well, just about as long as blogging has been around. Unfortunately, due to bad blogging advice, automated blog commenting software, and leaving the wrong comments on the wrong blogs – leaving comments on blogs to increase backlinks is quickly becoming a dead practice.
Plan the anchor text. Every anchor to your website needs to be relevant to your niche. Don’t include random words like “real” or “information”. I get link requests from dozens of people a week asking for links with anchor text like “debt consolidation info” or “real make money online”. No offense, but they’re clueless and wasting their time. Pick 10 or so anchor texts and use them randomly while building links. They need to be similar.
Blogs and article marketing are considered effective in promoting and selling products and services, whether they are your own or somebody else’s. This is because such websites attract more readers, who eventually become customers. It has been shown that Internet users prefer blogs because such websites are much more personal and people can easily relate to the publisher of the article or blog. If you intend to make money online blogs, blogs and articles are ideal because, even besides from appealing to more readers, the websites could be posted up and maintained for free. This means you can literally gain a ton of free traffic, to your own website or somebody else’s.
However, our markets are congruent with each other and compliment each other. In other words, we all mutually benefit from what we each deliver (individually) to the same market; we’re not competitors.
Oh, I’ve had a bunch of learn to workout cover my business, but I got no sales. Bloggers are just looking for free stuff anyway. Plus I can’t afford to send them samples or waste my time writing guest posts. Enough with these little guys, I’m ready for the big leagues.
You can create resource lists that will help your readers find information on your niche. You can also create lists of different ways to accomplish a goal in a niche, like “5 Ways to Drive Traffic to Your Sales Letter.” The possibilities are endless.
In summary, if you do nothing else but find a product to sell, create a website, attract customers, and then promote the heck out of your products, you will make money online. This is true for all beginners!
